Legines Brass Long Nipple features NPT Male x NPT Male threads, ideal for connecting two threaded pipes and extending pipe length. With 1/4" NPT threads, the long nipple ensures a secure connection to female threaded pipes. Made of forged brass, it offers higher corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. However, it is not suitable for potable water use in the U.S.A due to federal regulations.

The long nipple is longer than the short version and has NPT threads on both ends with a plain unthreaded middle section. It provides tighter seals compared to straight threads, ensuring a reliable connection. The solid brass structure not only offers durability but also superior corrosion resistance compared to steel.
