The Hex Nipple is designed for connecting two threaded pipes or fittings to extend pipe length, with a hexagonal middle section for easy tightening using a wrench. It features male NPT threads for connecting to female threaded pipes and is made from forged brass, providing corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This fitting can operate at a pressure of up to 1200psi and has a temperature range of -40°F to 160°F. Please note that it is not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A.

The Hex Nipple fitting consists of a short length of pipe with threaded ends for connecting threaded pipes, while the NPT Threads include a hexagonal section in the middle for increased bearing surface when adjusting the fitting with a wrench. The Hex Head Design features male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to female threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. Made of solid brass, this fitting offers corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability, making it suitable for connecting to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel.
