Our Legines Brass Hose Barb Fitting features a Forged Hose Barb 90° Elbow designed for connecting hoses to threaded pipes at an angle. The fitting connects to the hose on one end and has an NPT male connector on the other. Made of forged brass, it offers corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. It can withstand burst pressure of plastic tubing with a temperature range from -40°F to +160°F. Please note that it is not allowed by federal law to be used for potable water in the U.S.A.
The Forged Hose Barb 90° Elbow provides a tight seal on flexible or semi-rigid hoses when used with a hose clamp, crimp sleeve, or ferrule (sold separately). Its fair vibration resistance makes it suitable for low to medium pressure applications.
